John is a local Ottawa photographer with nearly a decade of professional experience. He began his career while attending Trent University, where he served as the main photographer for several university associations and graduating classes. From there, he expanded his focus to include small businesses and family portraits in Peterborough. When not working on commissioned projects, John explored Peterborough and nearby Toronto, refining his landscape and street photography skills. Over the years, he has participated in numerous gallery shows and has been published in various print and digital media.

Today, John runs a photography studio in downtown Ottawa, capturing images for business professionals, politicians, families, and individuals. From headshots and portraiture to product, real estate, event, and branding photography, John delivers exceptional results. While he loves working in a studio, he’s equally comfortable on location. He continues to pursue street, travel, and landscape photography, often venturing off the beaten path to create images that inspire his audience.

John’s extensive portfolio includes work for corporate clients such as Discovery Year, Abloom Landscaping, The Ottawa Heart Foundation, TCU Development Corp, The Ottawa Medical Society, and The Society for the Study of Reproduction.

In recent years, John has expanded his expertise to include videography. He has produced brand videos, commercials, interviews, and news-related content for companies like Plantaform, Beyond Networking, Clip & Swap, Samdesk.io, and Rockin’ Johnny’s Diner. He also enjoys working on personal video projects whenever the opportunity arises.
